Is this the real Life? Is this just Fantasy?
Often, I wake up with this phrase on my mind, but after five minutes I calm myself down and realise the beauty of this quarantine. It’s hard to believe that something like this is happening in a worldwide scale, but to be honest, the earth needed a break, so embrace the change and realise that this is part of the journey.
As a traveler, you are in constant changes, ups and downs, are something that you find in a daily basis, and this Covid-19, it’s just another part of my journey and I try to enjoy it as much as possible.
But of course, is not just about the present, even though I have been living for the last 6 years thinking in the day by day, this “health” crisis makes me wonder, on the effect it will have regarding to borders, free movement and immigration.
For us, the travellers, it is a constant problem everything related to the bureaucracy of the free-movement, and I’m pretty sure that It will not get easier. I fear that governments will use this, to make even harder the free movement of people around the world, but, even though this affect me 100%, I know that there is always a way, because, where there's a will there's always a way, and this will become another challenge to overcome and new opportunity’s will appear.
Which ever plan you had, it’s just changed, and not only for me, I think it’s for everyone affected on the crisis, so I prefer to call it oportun-crisis (opportunity - crisis). This gave us the chance to slow down and start watching everything with a different perspective, I hope we learn the lesson, and from now on, start to be a more conscious human, giving value to the things that really matter, and leaving out whatever is not necessary.
How many of us realised the importance of a veggie garden? How many of us realised the importance of the nature, the sun and the importance of the freedom!!!. I hope from now on, we just go forward, we cannot be back to the same old system that have proved that is worthless.
Stay fearless and prepare for the worst but hoping for the best. It’s time to Improvise, adapt, overcome.
